I've never seen the film, but this is one helluva shot. This image speaks volumes - tells tales - making it difficult to believe that it doesn't support the intended movie (and I have no frame of reference).

Doing something obscure is always a risk. There is no proper way to judge the image if there is not an understanding of where it came from, specially in a challenge where it is 'supposed' to be from a movie. With that being said, I find this a very fine image, I enjoy the character, however the foreground brokah of his hand is very distracting.

Not one I know, but I'll take your word for it. I like the worn fence and the alert little mutt in the background adding to the rural feel of the image.

I don't know the movie, but it's just a splendid portrait. Excellent detail and the processing is very good, too.

this is a great shot. For some reason the dog just makes it for me. Not sure I really get the movie tie-in though.

This is a fabulous image - the composition is stunning - especially the placement of the house and dog behind the man - and the man is so full of life and dignity. I don't know the film but I trust you on this one.
