this is my sport of a model Mandy. this girl loves to do anything and everything is takes to make a shot successful. i will probably get killed for over processing this one, but i don't care, i LOVE this shot. this one's for me ;) you have to do that every once in a while, right?

processing:
TONS of dodging and burning. contrast / brightness layers, some more dodging and burning. and then i dodged and burned some for effect :P trend?

Pretty decent-- Id prefer an angle with the shower curtain in it

I like the idea, however two things I see very wrong, the blood already on the walls and I can barely see/make out the knife. In the scene or at least my vision of the scene the knife is very prevalent and the star of the scene, the girl in the shower is just a victim. Here you have it in reverse.

The blood spray on the wall behind her doesnt flow with the image, it seems out of place. I think a shot without it would have been stronger. Her facial expression is good, but she looks pretty, and if I were screaming for my life I dont think I would look that pretty lol. I think the editing is really nice, sharp, clean, focused. Also, this shot has been done to death, to do something like this you have to be almost perfect, this is close... just a few things keep me from scoring it higher than 7. so.. 7! Good Luck :)

I guess you know you drew the "cliche" card of the challenge :) This is about the best one of the bunch, though. 8

Nice and crisp shot - love the water flow, the facial expression and the knife.

I am just a bit troubled by the blood on the wall - not by the violence but my first thought is .."Why is it there before she has been stabbed?" The blood actually pulls my eyes away from the knife.

I know it's a bit much to ask...and I am not really marking it down...but the original had a blonde in it with shorter hair. I would just imagine that others might vote it down because it doesn't quite look the same as the original. Good shot 6

Popular scene :) Sometimes the model looks like they are laughing instead of screaming. Yours has a nice frightened face ;)

A good picture but not quite the same as one of the frames in the film.
