 this is some cattle taken from the firetrail ..
they're not very clear because i was at 150mm zoom with the tamron ... it starts to get very grainy/dirty and indistinct once you go above 100mm zoom.. sometimes even below !!

Roz, I had that lens for a while- now I have the Tamron 18-250 which seems to be much sharper through out the range- you do need a tripod at anything above 150 tho.
Aside from that you made a wonderful, pastoral image with your genius w/filters , etc.... I love this !

You've achieved a nice watercolor or pastel effect in this one, Roz. Very nice processing. And the composition is beautiful. There are three distinct levels or layers - close, middle and far. My eye moves very smoothly from one to the next. Might work very well in the Distance challenge.

I agree with Judy down there - like a colorized drawing - very, very cool effect! Love the muted colors. This could totally go on the wall.

This looks like an old etching or perhaps a charcoal drawing that's been hand tinted. I actually like it A LOT!!! The brown/greenish blues really compliment one another. Real arty!!
