 i went for a walk on the firetrail this morning and only got a short way down before i got the worst pain in my foot .. like intermittent .. aghhhhh and then ok .. aghhhh and then ok .. so i took a couple of photographs near the dam and went home ..
this is a composite of two photographs one when i was lower down than the other so i could get the lower ferns and the trees as well .. i merged the two photographs and did stuff ..
i did adjustment layers in selective colour, colour balance and levels ..
i skewed the merged layer ..
did a touch of lucis, noise ninja and a tiny bit of perfectum ..
a small amount of dodging in the bottom of the image and bottom rhs .
did a layer style drop shadow ..
and brought in border ..

after putting it in dpc i see it looks like a total mess & could be too busy but its staying coz i cant do anything else for today .. :)

Beautiful! The firetrail must have wonderful scenery to photograph, and you have done it well. The border adds a nice touch as well. Hope your foot is ok!

I'm so sorry to hear about your foot. Is it the one you injured a while back? Hope it gets better and stops pestering you!

The shot is so pretty - all those delicate shapes and different green tones. I like it - it looks fluffy and rich.

Oh Roz, I'm sorry that you were in pain during your walk today, but I just had to laugh out loud at the way you described it with your "aghhhs" and "oks". Your humor truly shines through in your comments. And your image, by the way, is most definitely post-worthy. Hey, you could always add one of the cool textured layers to it to give that sky some extra pizzazz. Hope your foot is better, and you're back on the trail soon!
