I cannot tell you how it feels to have so many of the people I respect here, appreciate an image I've created.
In addition it's cool to have such great memories of my daughter - so it's a win/win situation.
Sandy - she really IS jumping that high off the ground. She did it about 100 times and had a blast doing it - I was exhausted for her, but she didn't want to stop - GRIN!
Now I really must take some photos of my son to balance my front page - SMILE!

What a wonderful way to interpret this challenge - to equate a rainbow with joyful emotions, but yet express the joy in this photo without making it only about and expressed by the rainbow element itself. You picked a great backdrop too. Congratulations on your finish!
Oooooo this photo caused me such grief because I would recognise that gorgeous model of yours anywhere in the world. I felt to be fair I had to be really strict about how I marked the shot but the wonderful joie de vivre just was amazing (and was I promise exactly the expression I had used myself when I saw it) and the purple backdrop set the shot off magnificently
It got a very harsh 7 from me because it deserved so much more. I am so glad you got another outstanding finish for this
Oh LISA!!!!! What a delightful award winning photo! This could not BE any more awesome! Was she really jumping that high? Or did you have one of those mini-trampolines there to give her extra bounce. Lisa! you know what, I thought this might have been a Lesley Goodman image. Your daughter deserves a gift from Chaddy for all of the modelling she does for you. I LOVE this image. That ribbon has to be close...choosing this as a FAVE
What can I say, I just love the happiness in the photograph. The background adds a fitting color and texture to the photograph. This is also one of my top picks. 10
Wonderful capture! Everything is so awesome in this shot and I fully expect a ribbon! Bumping to a 10. I really can't believe that pink? wall works so well here...I would have never thought it!
This one really jumps for joy. The background colors and textures work really well. The focus on the girl's face, the brightness of the rainbow, and the bright white of her top make this a special image. My only negative comment is that I really don't like the blur in her legs and feet. The blur in the rainbow streamer works great, however.
Fun and free-spirited - your photo makes me smile. I like the background - it's a good compliment and doesn't distract. I don't even mind the blurriness. I hope this is in the top ten. Good luck.
Beautiful, definite blue ribbon winner! Love it how the girl's face is sharp while almost all the rest of her is blurred. The way she looks at the end of the ribbon, the color of the wall, the composition, lighting, everything is perfect. My absolute favorite!
The motion in this photographs is amazing, the smile from the side is powerfull, and the concept of the raibow is strong in the composition, very NICE!!!
