Nice idea, I had a similar one but couldn't manage the time to get it. I think the picture would be better if you crop it so the kids would be closer to the viewer. |

from a photo standpoint, I don't think this is much more than a snapshot, but what a wonderfully poignant and tender moment you have captured. She looks wonderf ully excited to take on a new challenge in life, but I suspect it was quite difficult for you to let go... great interpretation of the challenge. |

I think that a lot of your voters will probably have problems understanding this picture but I think it captures a feeling that we all need to deal with at some point in time. I would guess you probably arent getting the results you want, but Im giving you a 7 because I like how this picture made me feel. |

I had this same shot in my head as a possibility. I think all mothers and fathers can appreciate the "letting go" factor in this shot! The photo itself is very well done with good exposure and composition. I like how she's walking away from you with that quick look back and wave. |

winner of the "Aww" award. If you are a parent this touches you. nice capture. Technically so-so, emotionally loaded. |

You're on to a great capture of the "letting kids go" motif in this challenge. I would like to see a bit less of the bus - more of a backdrop to your main subject. |

You might want to get down a little so your more on her level, closer also. The bus is in focus but she is not......she is the subject. Good luck in the challenge. |

nice effort. like the idea. A crop at the top getting rid of that white sky would have framed this better. |

I was thinking of doing something like this, but could not find a child. |
