hilarious description. little lower aperture (if the oly allows it) and you get a faster shutter (sharper pic) and shallower field which would add some depth.

Story: (almost) V.Good - the emotion in the woman is not quite right. The pose is relaxed rather than angry/sad. Sitting as she is would be right if she was looking AT the burning picture.

I like the concept of this photo. It makes me think of the boxes of trinkets that teens keep as documents of their romantic pasts

I would have focused on her eyes. The focus in the front is a great idea, but, it makes the photo look a little off on my monitor.
