i hung my tootsies out over the pool and snapped a few shots - this is the only one where i liked the color of the toe (why it varied so much is weird)

i wanted just the big toe, and i wanted a nice ripple pattern in the water --- unfortunately, the only way i could get both was with the shot i ended up with --- of course NOW i want more toe, but i really was happy with the result

apparently, most people thought there just wasn't enough POSITIVE space in the pic

This is so funny, especially when I have to scroll down my screen to see the whole picture, suddenly there was this toe. Very, very original.

I like this one a lot, and I know exactly what you're trying to do... but I can't help but wish there was more of the finger in the frame :)

This is hilarious, I love the sense of humor. Great color, Concept, Focus Excellent Work - Gotcha

I like the water texture and the colours. I would have liked to see more of the finger/ or none at all. Nice Pic. 8

Interesting idea. I'd like to see a bit more of that toe. Perhaps a few toes, partial foot. Very creative.

A little too much negative space ... is that a toe, or a thumb? A good looking pair of female feet would finish this photo --7

needs a bit more toe I think - funky idea though.

GREAT background and good contrast colour from the finger.
I'd like a bit more finger in frame ;)
Just my preference.

Excellent. A very funny and clever idea. Maybe a fraction more toe would be good? 9-Martin

Greate concept. A bit more finger would have been nice. But I must say this appears to be a well groomed finger... Lighting and focus are good. Good use of negative space.

Very well done and a great idea for a photograph.

Need to focus on the subject a lot more. Water shot is nice but it ends up looking like the subject more than the background
09/18/2002 02:38:00 AM

Hmmm... I'll state the obvious, that there is too much space. ha! I *think* it's a toe. - bamaster (6)
09/16/2002 09:38:00 PM
Good neg space, but I think we need to see more of the subject. Perhaps an entire foot actually dipping into the water at the same point, just more.
09/16/2002 06:30:00 PM
the watter idea is coll. u couldn't find ANY thing better than the toe?
09/16/2002 05:22:00 PM
