I just wanted to answer a few of the comments that were made about this photo. First of all, unless I ask for another tornado, I cant move buildings out of the picture! Part of Architecture is location, so the buildings around it are part of the picture too. That is one reason you can't see all of the building. If you crop out the building behind, you miss much of the detail of this amazing structure. It is a downtown building, so it is surrounded by large buildings on all sides. I wish the lighting was different on the front, but unless I was able to set up a lot of strobes, it would never happen. Also, shooting from the ground would not have granted a better view of the entire building and the angels would have appeared distored and the lighting would have been odd on a night shot.

Nice exposure.

nice. a little too much detail in the background.

Nice! Why didn't you crop out the top distracting building though?
04/06/2002 06:46:00 PM
There is a building just like that near me. Maybe the same architect? Nice angle and framing.

good shot, nice lighting and focus. Try cropping out the lighted building at the top, and right above the streetlight on the left at the bottom. To me this really enhances the shot. Really brings out the angels!.

Amazing architechture here. Your angle is great as well as your exposure. The colors came out crisp and clear. Well done.

Details in the scuptures a bit washed out.

Nice lighting and contrast Nice architecture!, I bet you can't wait to crop out the building in the background

being someone who lived in Fort Worth, I loved this structure,... i might have sugested a lower angle to bring out the angelic scluptures.

Beautiful focus on the building. The nightlights are minimized well. Great job.

A fairly good shot technically, but not especially visually interesting... just kinda blah, you know? If you have the ability to do so, might have been good to open the shutter longer & lower the aperature. But not bad overall.

Good shot - another one would have done well in the 'Night Shot' challenge.

great lighting, beautiful building; I'm sad that the entire front of the building isn't in the photo; good detail.
