 Bonus pic for day 1 of 30 days of flowers.

Had my 50mm reversed on my 18-200. Handheld outside in a breeze; DUMB way to do this as focus is so very narrow! Check out the tutorial for more info on the technique.

I need to try the reversed technique sometime. The dof is incredible and so is the color

The center reminds me of a little octopus, all be one with only 5 tentacles...very pretty light and DOF.

With that razor-thin depth of field, I think you picked out the perfect area of focus. Nice. The bokeh areas are very lush and satisfying.
