 The story behind this shot is far from a "solo flight".

Big thanks to Marlin (aka Pedro) for driving me to this road. It was a big honor for me to have him assist me in all of my shots that day.

All praises to Ross (aka shecoya) for styling the model.

And to Sabina, thank you so very much. It was a pleasure working with this amazing model.

Yes, I was in Canada for a workshop but I must say that the highlight of my Canada sojourn was hanging out with a good friend, Pedro. I owe you bigtime man! Hope this picture does well (after yours). And if dpcers never guess it's mine, then we succeeded!

Interesting collection of colors and tones in this photo...the dark and ominous in the direction she's heading. Symbolism for venturing into the unknown? The safe and calming of the green grasses where she is at, leaving the known behind. Then the very bright colors of her top and suitcase, I'm guessing they represent her excitement and enthusiasm of her journey. I like the artistic tilt...great photo!
