Great use of focus, composition and tones. All in all a beautiful shot! I would be interested to know what lens you used?

Great job on this. Your selective focus and and lighting are excellent.
It was one of my top pics.

my small mind is not able to grasp the purpose of your choice of focus. What is in focus is very nicely lit and exposed. Just don't get the rest, though I appreciate the fine choice of composition.

A great composition which fits the challenge very well. The use of a narrow DOF is well suited, however, maybe the DOF is a bit too narrow. Also the big diamond is a little too dark IMO. What works very well is the use of B&W and how you made the frame. Good luck to you

The soft tones are terrific, good use of depth of field, nice clean composition. I am missing a sparkle in the diamonds. Still in my top 5 for this challenge.

The soft works so well on this, bringing all the attention to the gems. 10

I think I'd have preferred just a little more depth of field.

Absolutely beautiful. I love the soft tones and your dept of field is focused in the prefect spot. This is gorgeous - it could be an advertisement. 10

I like the image and the fading into the background. I just don't make the association.

DOF is way to shallow for this type of image (IMHO). Also the high key approach doesn't do this justice...

Technical: Fits the challenge. Exposure/lighting good, both fit the subject well. composition is nice. Focus- the DOF is a bit too shallow for me! Also the main diamond appearing to be a bit fuzzy is distracting.

Personal: Creativity is there. Is this just equating jewelry with money or are you making a statement about marriage being costly? ;-)

My vote: 7.

Nicely composed, b&w and lighting works. I'm a fan of shallow DOF but I'm afraid it doesn't work well here. It would be stunning if the entire rings were crystal clear.

This is an excellent photo. Just perfect. I knew jewelery is hard to photograph, but I had to try too. If I knew about this picture, I would have been ashamed to submit mine. 10 and congratulations. You sure deserve a ribbon.
