The crisp colors and sharpness captured among the fog here is just stunning. It is very fascinating to look at and i love the patterns in the different buildings that keeps just enough variety among them to make them flow beautifully but each still be unique and interesting. Great shot, well deserved ribbon

Great shot! You should consider blowing this up and putting in on top of one of those light panels... I use panels from: www.photoglow.com.

Good shot for the challenge.

Nice capture. Like the crop and lighting.

even in basic editing you're allowed to clone out dust bunnies ... I think that would have made this even stronger ... overall great image ...
Post actions
Ohmy! How'd you get that enormous mirror under all those docks! This is spectacular! I LOVE the soft pastel blue tones and the misty backdrop of trees! Definitely one of my top picks. 10

I like the way the fog obscures the edges

Oh my God....I love this. Top 3.

I think this is a fine shot - the reflections and fog emphasize the stillness. The one detraction for me, and it is a minor one, is the flag pole that juts out in the background. Would be better to have kept the background just all trees and fog, but it is hard to see how you could have recomposed the shot to leave out the flag pole, and I think removing it later in Photoshop probably violates the basic editing rules - I did not discount your score for it.

I feel certain this image should win the blue ribbon. Impecable PP and in-camera image execution. Not sure this could be any more correct: both technically and artistically. gl 10+++
