this is original unedited version ...

this is processing steps ... i had decided i wasnt going to edit this one, coz i didnt think it'd turn out real good, but i changed my mind ...
processed twice thru RAW .. a lighter and a greener version ... erased different areas in each layer to get tones i wanted ...
did adjustment layers in levels ..
adjustment layer in hue/sat and saturated all the colours ..
adjusment layer colour balance and gave a sort of glow to pole ..
cloned out sun thing on top lhs ..
did usm .. resized ... did smart sharpen ... did noise ninja .. did smart sharpen again .. did some selective sharpening of grass .. border .. save for web ..

Very very nice composition and perspective. I like the edited version better only because you can see detail a lot better.

Wow, roz, exactly as I saw it! (Tongue in cheek, sarcastic tone available upon request). No, all kidding aside, this is a wonderful editing job. You've added detail in the dark areas, and really created a stunning photograph. I love this perspective.

I must saw the edit made a huge difference on this! I didn't expect you to be able to pull out as much as you did, in fact. The gradient in the sky really makes this shot. One thing I noticed is some areas right around the trees that need a little more cleaning up - there are some tonal differences that you can see fairly easily.

I like the way you combine different RAW conversions - gives the photo a nice richness and depth, and really brings out the colors.
