Wowsers, I'm glad to happen across this lovely image! Immediately drawn in by the rich inviting green tones. Then you see just enough detail, as if behind a shear veil, that the context is totally there, and the viewer feels rewarded for his pause to study the photo. Great tilted lines that seem to flow, again, as if a shear curtain fluttering in a soft summer breeze. This just takes my eye, and pleasantly allows me to sway back and forth across the image, taking it all in lazily. What a great feeling it gives me, like lying back in a hammock, in a secluded forest, drifting slowly into dreamland on an early summers eve.
...oh, by the way, I like this shot ;-) going into favs! |

| glorious proof that people can be imbeciles. 10 people gave this a 1?! Do they have no imagination at all?? This is a stunning piece of abstract art, and you should be saluted. The lines and colours are just gorgeous. Deserved so much more than a 5.11. |

| I really liked this abstract. Not surprising it didn't resonate with the voters, as it's a little too OOB. I liked the way more detail was visible in the top of the frame; it gave it some subtle reference. Well done!! |

| I really like what you tried to do here. The only thing I would recommend is to use a partial vaseline smear to give a bit more unique appeal to the top area of the image. As an abstract this is fab, and I love the image as it is, but by dp standards a bit more detail along the top probably would have given you a few extra fractions in your score. |

| I think this is a great shot. On the one hand it's abstract and on the other, if you look for more than 2 seconds, it's perfectly obvious what it is. It's a definite wall-hanger. |

Interesting idea. I like the energy but I wonder if you have out-takes with a little more focus. It might offer more context.
As it is, even with the title, this feels a little too abstract.

| I'm not a big fan of abstracts, but I really like this. I actually wish a little less focus was obtained in the middle top canopy. When I first looked I thought perhaps it was a macro of a leaf...but then it just jumped out at me as forest. Great job and I hope it scores well (although knowing the voters here it probably wont). 9. |
