| The best of this image is the light. Very good; there are no hand shadows on top of the drawing. The sharpeness and focus is very good. One has to wonder if the pencil drawing (which is very cool) was made for the challege picture, or if it already existed, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the picture. |

From my perspective:
Meets challenge:Yes
Technical:fine
Appeal/Artistic:inspired!!! Very nice.
Composition:good
Originality:excellent
Comments:Great job, one of my favorites. So much to look at here. I'm wondering about some of the things in the pic. Like what is the "B" for and why is it sideways? Why is there a bite taken out of the building on the left? Is that an insect on the building on the right? What is the meaning? Enquiring minds wanna know! LOL Good luck in the challenge.

I think the drawing behind is superb! This must have taken ages, it's very cool!
On a photo level the photo seems to be a photo of another piece of artwork than about the photo itself.

Nice image, incredible amount of work for this....
Overall, the image is good. I think that detail on the hand and pencil is a little shadowed, and could have been a bit better. |

| The lighting is great for this photo no distracting shadows or bright spots. I have to wonder where you came across the drawing though. Meets the challenge to a T. Lots of photos similar this week of a pencil shown drawing something. Great idea though and nicely done. Good luck in the challenge. |

The drawing is very interesting. The hand and pencil could use a bit more light, and perhaps angled differently. This is probably a natural way to have placed the hand, but because of the light, it looks odd on camera - the translation is lost.

It is a pleasure to contemplate Pencilopolis. So much so actually that I have a tough time critiquing the actual photograph :) I keep seeing all these neat things but they are all in the drawing(s), such as Big Bird watching the hand and the page curl of the background drawing. I have been downplaying the actual photograph; technically it is very good. The total package is just great. A lot of originality and a fine sense of humor. Wonder what the significance of the B is? :) I will revisit this later this week a few more times to settle on a final score. Congratulations, well done, I love this! Thanks for making the voting process so entertaining. An 8 for now; Journey
