really cool use of a pencil frame. I like it. the photo is creative and original. The lighting and angle are good, however it also kind of looks like the chest of this person is also kind of in a "frame" makes it stand out pretty well. the focus is great. I even like the soft focus on the hand in the front. good luck in the challenge.

I couldn't tell at first if that was a pencil or pen being held by the drawer, but upon closer examination I can see it probably is. The lighting doesn't make much stand out here, but it's a good concept with that frame.

I like the concept of "framing" and think it would be a good topic for a future challenge... However, I think your execution had a few problems... If there was anyway to not have your hand holding the frame, it would have helped... Also the shadow on the ground hurt a bit too... A closer crop where we don't see much 'outside' the frame may have worked better...

Interesting idea but composition doens't work for me, too busy. Maybe a much tighter crop?
