This is a severely underrated study. Excellent job. I love the tones, colour and textures - just perfect.

Almost beautiful. Now take the same picture, same filter, same scene...just find an older, more worn, faucet.

One of the better kinds of these shots that I've ever seen. Good composition, nice dynamics that lead the eye around the image, and the blue tones make it feel "clean". 8

Interesting concept - "still" water!

I'm not voting on this one but wanted to comment. This is very pleasing to look at. Good composition and color choice. Simple and elegant.

yes they are. This shot has a lot of potential and I hope you don't mind my suggestions on it. I would have scrubbed the sink and faucet clean first, got a real shine on them, then placed the pan with plate in there. The foil on the back is good to help cover the backsplash but maybe if you had put it on some cardboard and really flattened it so either you had an overall crinkle effect or a smoother effect, either would have worked better to me. The cropping is good, the faucet handle brings you in, maybe just a little looser on the right so the whole plate was included. The lighting is also very good. Hope you try this again, if you don't I just might! ;) I had started at a 4 but am going to a 6 for a really potentially great shot

hmmm .. do you usually have paper behind the sink? ;P
I like the blueness in this one.. maybe a black fabric background would work better than the white paper.

Neat shot--cool lighting. I'm not sure it meets the classic definition of a still life, especially with the running water, but I like it anyway. 6

This is a nice photo. I like the blue tone and the overall composition quite a bit. I don't vote based on the challenge topic, but if I did, you would lose point for this photo as a 'still life'. A still life photo should not convey motion, and this one does :)
