Wonderful subtle colours and tones captured here. I feel that the composition lets it down though... the ratio of negative space to subject seems haphazard and not thought out. Perhaps a tighter crop? 8

This could be a very nice shot but needs to be lit better. Love the textures in the center where you have contrast between the light colored petals and the darker shadows! I'm still trying to learn about lighting so I don't have any good suggestions here...

oh, flowers will make their way into EVERY competition, i swear. hah, although this contest is befitting.. i'm sick of flowers.
