A McDonald's french-fry container, filled three-quarters full of sand, then put all but three of a 20-pack of Duracell AA batteries in it. The remaining three, well, you can see what I did with them.

Shot in RAW, did most of the adjustments in Adobe Camera RAW. In Photoshop, I cropped, tweak just a little, resized, and added border in Photoshop.

This was one of my favorite entries. Extra creative, and very sharp. Nice job!

Although it's random, I like the idea. I think the lighting is verynice on the batteries, but there seem to be a lot of shadows in the background. Maybe a clean white background would have looked better and more commercial-like.

On a purely visual level the shot works well - strong colours, good composition, good lighting and nicely curved, unobtrusive backdrop. But I'm not sure I get the point behind combining batteries and fast food packaging? Probably missing the concept/ idea that would make this one fall into place for me.

I'd have cropped it tighter but you made me chuckle so you get an extra point.
