One morning I noticed the dew on the trees by the driveway and thought, that's new every day, but it was cloudy that morning and I thought I would like the dew to sparkle. Over the next few days, NO dew. I resorted to a mister. Taking about 50 shots at a sitting, reviewing those shots and returning to the scene of the crime, repeated 4 times! I finally got everything I wanted in this shot. There are reflections in some droplets, magnification in others, and stars in others, while some stayed "straight". I hope you all enjoy this as much as I do. Swash

Nice take on "something new." I wish the sky were more sunrise-y, though. 8) --muckpond

Dew in the morning. Not only is that a "new" thing, but the little pine tree also looks "new". nice angle, pretty colors, and great lighting. the focus varries. in some spots it's really sharp and in some it's softer. I know the background is suposed to be soft, but it's the main needles that are varried. Not sure if this is because of the dew, or what, but the top needles seem sharper than the bottom needles. Good luck in the challenge.

I like this tremendously. The only part that bothers me a little bit is the blurred grenery in the left side background and without the title I wouldn''t know where you were coming from in this challenge. I really don't care to rely on the title for clues to the photographers perception. =8 syamjoninmi

This is so good... I love the droplets and the feeling of texture I get. But there's something... the cropping, or the angle, or something, that I would have tried differently, I'm just not sure how.

This is a very nice shot... The detail is excellent :) - I think a slightly off center of tilted perspective on this would be nice as well - jmsetzler

Is that really dew or did you flick water at the plant? Big drops there! Nicely lit and well focussed though.

Nice concept. If you could show more dew drops like those on the left it would be great. the right side drops are blurred.
