These off-white, clay tiles hang in our bathroom, in a series of six. I've always enjoyed them because of the texture and look. Photographing them on the white background seemed a good way to enter this challenge.

Aperture priority mode, ISO of 400 set, 50mm focal length.

Basic editing in Raw Shooter (including exposure compensation, some contrast adjustment, saturation reduction, and sharpness). Croped, resized, and exported in Picasa.

Looks like the BG could use a larger blast of white.

could have taken the bright sunshineness up a notch and change hue toward red rather than green.

The lighting shows off the form of the tile. As a "product shot" it fails to describe the object. As an "art" shot it fails to convey the photographer's contribution.
