Not only a great photo, but the model is red hot!
  Photographer found comment helpful.

I'd say by the way the Model is touching the railway tie, that it must be 'really' friggin' HOT. I love the tilt of the photo also, it looks very natural to me. It actually looks like this photo was taken in a bit of a coulee or on some type of slope. Beautiful model, equally HOT Photo....

Well done Judi. Very good technicals and aesthetics. One small thing: do you think it's tilted slightly left? It looks that way to me, but of course it's hard to tell without a horizon (but see the tree upper right). I admit I've become obsessed with trying to make sure my photos are straight even when they don't have a horizon--so much so I bought a level for my hotshoe. And I know there can often be an illusion of tilt. I wasn't looking for it here, but I just got "that feeling". :)

Anyway, that verbose para above is not supposed to detract from my original intent to give you kudos for such a fine shot here!

Heh. I've seen postcards that play off the shock value like this one. Nice way to make the most of not having something else to shoot! Back to bump up a point.

Now, I bet this is Judi. Will this end up in my mailbox? Looool. This will make my elder neighbours flip up :-)) Hmm, now I wonder about the outtake :-P
Great job as always! I like the colors and the "hot" feeling (as in hot weather feeling, but not only ;-)) that you get from the picture, although I hope the stones weren't too hot!

you need to take your clothes off earlier as you have a VPL visible panty line... any excuse to show of a great body should be encouraged :)
this would sell well as a post card but I would use a diifferant font as the bottom line reads as But the view to great!

Bold entry into this challenge with the all the up-tights that vote here. But it is a great photograph with or without the model, and who hasn't seen these types of postcards at the gift shops. Well done!

It's a shame this photo won't likely score well because of all the offended people giving you 1's but the model SMOKES! I just can't see myself calling this a bad photo. All I see is a 10. Great job. LOL

11/20/2006 09:03:47 PM
Brilliant. Not sure I like the uncomfortable pose, but nice anyway you look at it.
  Photographer found comment helpful.
11/20/2006 05:12:44 PM
the model's hands on the track look very uncomfortable and the arm looks tense as does her expression. I would have liked to see a little more DOF. Good idea and the frame and text is really nice.

I shall put aside my personal distaste of this type of card when scoring. Colours, composition and style are good, although I think the black lettering detracts from the over-all effect.
  Photographer found comment helpful.
11/20/2006 12:31:54 PM
I wish you hadn't added the additional text (in black), it is distracting and unnecessary. Otherwise a great, and amusing idea.

11/20/2006 12:21:45 PM
I doubt this would be in many retail postcard racks. Not even sure it could be mailed.

Yeah, I think I know who this is: crazy Aussie, thinking different, likes nude shots... I really like this kind of humor! :) Great that you thought outside the box. I give you a 10 to compensate those "I'm too prude to see naked people" - folks that will vote you down ;)

11/20/2006 10:22:34 AM
Brilliant! Had chosen less worn-out fonts, though (but who cares for fonts, anyway)

I am guessing that the shoes were a nightmare to wear and that your model has a sore backside now...but in the name of art... ;-) So tell me, when she left the house, did she only remember to put on her shoes?

Great image...just playing around
