This composite is really fun. I knew it wasn't valid (the butterfly must have been feeding on Miracle Grow flowers.) :D) But challenge aside, the PS work was so well done. The bird really looks like it is observing the biggest darn butterfly he's ever seen, and right on his nose!! No good for challenges, but great for your portfolio. Keep it up.

Well, shoot! This was one of my favorite photos ever -- I guess being fairly new you didn't realize you can't do that -- but you did it so freakin' well! I just love the photo :)

The butterfly looks photoshopped in. Nice job on selective desat.

Great capture of unique moment, but the selective desaturation doesn't work at all for me.

The dynamic range is very good but the butterfly is enormous!!

I think this is one of those instances where desaturating all but one object in the photo doesn't really work. The butterfly looks fake.

Ohmygosh. . .I am certainly not an expert on HDR, but this is the most awesome photo of a bird I have ever seen! Is that for real??? No photoshop tricks to get that butterfly perfectly situated on that bird's beak??? This may be one of my favorites of my favorites! 10, 10, 10!!!

How in the world did this Pelican let this thing land on it? It doesn't even look real? The scale looks wrong....like the butterfly is way too big compared to the pelican.
