You're right, this is an angle you never see. I like the reflection of the bridge in the pool and the wonderful range of colors here. Parts of the image feel a little bit dark, though. |

thanks for your comments. I was trying a different processing with this one, specially the rocks. they were a part of the cross-processing. The rocks get a green tone due to that. its just a curves layer red channel modification... |

Personally, I liked the post-processing. Contrasty? Sure... but I think it works here. Congrats on a really great shot! |

Such a unique perspective. Didnt realize there were tidepools down there. A fresh look indeed! |

i agree with JPR..especially on the contrast...however, I don't think the post hurts this image. I actually think this angle, presentation, scope and subtle reflection to maximize efficiency make this image top 5 entry. |

I think this is easily one of the top photos in the challenge composition wise and could have had a good chance at ribboning but the post processing in my opinion is taking away from the beautiful photo that you started with. |

Great comp and viewpoint - oversaturated result, which is a shame. |

I would like this a lot better if it weren't so oversaturated. I think the red is fine, though maybe it needs a little slide more into orange, but the blue is defitely overdone. Still, everything else about it, technically and compositionally, looks really nice. |

Slightly over-processed for my tastes, but I still like this very much! A simply outstanding composition. Beautiful! |

It's amazing how, no matter how many times I've seen a shot of the same subject, there's always a new perspective somewhere. This is just awesome! Congrats on a really nice shot with a vantage point I don't recall seeing before. |

wow! very colorful. I didn't know there were tide pools around there, but I guess that's due to the recent rain. Very awesome pic, the only thing that bothers me is the lower right corner b/c it's a little to high key and pulls the eye away from the bridge(s). I think you could've gotten away with cropping out the lower part of the tide pool and balancing that by cropping out just a tad of the left vertical side. Still, it's one of the better ones here and I'm sure it will do well.
Oh and one last thing, next time make it BIGGER...just a suggestion :) |
