The unusual angle on this makes it stand out a little more. The colors are very neutral, except for the green, and coupled with the white plate/bowl it has a nice minimalist feel. This is certainly something I could expect to see in a cookery book or magazine, or even adorning a restaurant menu. Very nicely prepared and presented. |

Might have gone with a different angle to get more green in there, otherwise |

could easily see this in a magazine. Very good selective focus and great presentation. No so sure about the very out of focus bowl in the background - something more like an elegant fork or slim stemed glassware would maybe be more appropriate ? |

Wherer's the pasta? :) This looks very yummy, I love tuna! But the angle of the shot takes away from it. I keep thinking the tuna is going to slide out of the shot. The lighting and DOF are wonderful, an 8 to start. |

Nice composition. Is there really pasta there? I see onions and bean sprouts but don't see the pasta. The tilt is a nice touch. |

Interesting set up. I like the off-kilter perspective and the light tones. Lighting is great. I even like the small focus area - it really works for this photo. The food looks appetizing, the bits of parsley? give it extra texture. Nice! 7 |

This looks really discusting, but it's a nice photo. I like the dramatic angle. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the bowl in the background. The dark thing in the bowl creates a slight distraction from the subject. Your focus and DOF are really good. Unfortunately we get a lot of great detail in the food. lol. Not really my kind of food, but like I said. Good shot. ~Heather~ |

Interesting. Doesn't really look like pasta, but more like mung bean sprouts. This could use a splash of colour. Red, like a couple of slivers of radish, or tomato, or red pepper. |

Wow, focal point nightmare, but you caught it OK. The lighting seems too blue to me, perhaps a white balance adjust would have helped. The simplistic effect of the presentation actually works. Normally an angular approach bothers me, but not this time. Gets my 9. |

Excellent shot, nice angle , good choice of crockery and especially like the other crockery in the distance, an overall excellent shot but for what the title states as being pasta I am struggling to see any! Maybe too many bean sprouts in the way of the pasta - BUT that is the only one thing lacking on this shot... Brilliant |

angle is good but the colours look a bit flat and washed out |

Great use of DOF. The angle on the other hand is too drastic. I keep expecting it all to slide off the screen. |

Not sure I like the slant. Where's the pasta BTW? Nice focus but DOF is a little shallow IMHO! |

Very muted colours, I can imagine this working in an advert with text over some of the image. Nice perspective and I like the out of focus bowl in the background. Adds interest without interfering. |

Looks great, I'm hungry now :-) This surely would not be enough to fill me up though, I'd need about 10 helpings of it. And I can't seem to see the pasta anywhere, I see the tuna and I see the sprouts but no pasta. Doesn't matter, Ilike this one and you probably could sell it as a stock photograph - 9. |
