oh my gosh, thats is great!
11/13/2006 02:38:23 PM
hahah yaya ya

thanks for all the wonderful comments and to answer all your questions....

the reason its so small is because i forgot the deadlnie was whe it was...i had it saved on my desktop for other reasons, realized the deadline was in about 30 seconds, and submitted it as quick as i could

then went back after it was submitted and tried to enlarge it to challenge size but when i went to submit that file...TOO LATE!

heheh

thanks anyways though!

This is obviously a great shot. It's sad that the actual size of the photo caused people to automatically give it low scores. It deserves no less than 8's.

This is excellent, but why so small? Would have looked great at regular size. Check out the sizing tutorial in the forums. Good luck.

Looks interesting. Wish it was larger!
11/07/2006 12:53:15 PM
This looks a really good image, but it is dar too small.
11/07/2006 04:37:33 AM
wow!!! cant believe i missed this one when browsing through... I really love it! fantastic...
11/06/2006 08:30:39 PM
you could have gotten a big fat score with this picture if you just resized it bigger. I'll give you an 8 anyway.
11/06/2006 09:52:55 AM
The shot is too little to be really evaluated. It seems a good one and I like the impression, but why did you post it so little?
11/05/2006 06:54:28 PM
Could be larger, kind of small.
11/05/2006 03:33:46 PM
Go read the resizing tutorial. looks good but I can't really see any detail
11/04/2006 06:03:47 PM

This one scares me!
Great expression, nice editing!

I totally love this photo...why so small?
11/03/2006 06:28:05 PM
This has an interesting twist. It's quite crisp and well focused from what I can see (it's REALLY small). The mask, well...not sure what to say about that. Hard to know how this photo could have really done being so small. That's going to impact the score regardless of how good the photo might be. All JMO of course. Good luck.

It`s a shame you submited you picture so small, I can`t really apreciate it well and it looks very good!
11/03/2006 08:51:40 AM
use the real estate.Had potential....
11/03/2006 03:48:53 AM
You've probably got fifty million comments telling you so, but the picture looks really awesome at this size, just wish it were bigger.
11/03/2006 02:50:50 AM
Small jpeg...interesting concept...
11/03/2006 12:20:29 AM
This looks like it's a gorgeous, original shot. I'm even a sucker for a well-done sepia. But the image you've uploaded is really way too small to appreciate properly.
11/02/2006 04:22:13 PM
different, interesting and weird ...... i like it ......
11/02/2006 04:04:15 PM

11/02/2006 02:46:01 PM
why so small?
11/02/2006 01:23:09 PM
I'm not sure the mask added anything to the portrait.I think it would have worked just as well, if not better, without.

Back to comment: You aren't using the full size limit that the challenges allow for an image. Your image is 350 X 234 pixels in size. You are allowed to make the longest dimension 640 pixels. You are also allowed a file size of 150 kb. Your image is only 100 kb. Smaller images and smaller file sizes make it harder to see the detail in your image. I initially gave this a 4 for being small but I am bumping to a 6 because it has so much personality. If it was bigger, I would probably score it even higher.

I like this. just wish it were bigger.
11/02/2006 06:49:10 AM
very arty and quirky...but why so small???
11/02/2006 04:56:11 AM
shame it's too small, because it looks like an interesting shot and unique shot. it's always a good idea to utilize the full 640px allowed.
11/01/2006 09:11:53 PM
looks like a great picture... I wish it was bigger !
11/01/2006 08:36:34 PM
this is a great picture but way too small
11/01/2006 04:40:08 PM
Try to submit as big a picture as possible. 640 pixels is already small, no need to make it smaller than that. Otherwise, nice shot.
11/01/2006 11:12:07 AM
too small
11/01/2006 04:30:37 AM
I wish the picture was bigger, but definitely a nice picture! Love the lighting!!
11/01/2006 03:45:52 AM
Looks like a good picture, but it is to thumbnaily to tell.
11/01/2006 02:13:56 AM
great composition...I suspect you're going to see many "too small" comments though
11/01/2006 01:36:34 AM
This would of been really good if I could see it more. Try using the full 640 size for your entries!
11/01/2006 12:34:48 AM
i love this, just wish it was bigger!
11/01/2006 12:10:15 AM
Wow...very frightening...a bit small...
