I really don't find it tooooo difficult to associate an umbrella with rain!?! It is not a parasol after all. TROLLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MMM
You were not only ROBBED you were left for carrion fodder!!!! Shame on such unimaginative oners.

Holyman Jimmy is this the most underrated photo ever or what?!?!?!

This should so be top ten it's not funny. Whomever could vote this 5 or below has problem, and I'm very serious about that; this very undeserved score irks me 1000%.

This is ultra-fab dude, ultra!

What a rip. Not understanding a 1?? That's so ridiculous. It is tack sharp, well focused, great colors and even if it didn't meet their meaning of the challenge, it should be a 6! Grrrrrr Trolls be damned.

Geez, I thought this would be top 10 material at least...!

Very very very underrated, Jimmy. I thought this was a front-pager all the way.

I agree that this photo is not a 10. I gave it a 7. But I can't for the life of me figure out how 11 people could give it a 1. I guess the TROLL situation is getting worse than ever.

jimmy - this is a great pic of you! crap on the scores. People seem to be voting down anything that's even slightly different anyway.

what a great, seemingly spontaneous capture...... It looks like a lot of thought went into the lighting of this image.

I don't think this one will do well. However, I really like it. He has a great expression. I dig the spinning unbrella. Good luck. I really hope it does well.

This is a grat portrait and would score a 9-10 from me in a portrait competition but I don't see any rain here so it can't get above a 7 sorry

one of the best!

perhaps a slightly faster shutter speed would have given slightly less blur to make out the umbrella a bit better, but great lighting and image 8

is he violently turning round his umbrella? unless it is so, I cannot see any link between the "rain" and this handsome guy_)

nice depiction of rain without rain!
I like the lighting, the focus, the expression as well as the background

This is a neat idea. I think what would be cool is if you had some spots of rain on the shirt. That color shirt would show it very well. 7

he held still pretty well while twirling the bumbershoot. A bit of a stretch on theme, but whatever. the background is a fairly neat effect. How do I know he's a weatherman? 5

Dang, that dude looks familiar! :) Even though it doesn't actually show rain, this is one of my two 10s this time around. I really like the sharpness of SJ, and the blur of the umbrella. Very nicely done!

What a refreshing change. Love your optimistic look. The wisps of hair in the face help with the movement of the umbrella. Great clarity. So happy!!!
