nice try at the shot. The flash has caused some hot spots. It helps to have an off camera flash when attempting these kinds of shots. That way you can place it to the side and lower so not as many hot spots are made. When I did mine, I also had another light above and to the right to even out the exposure. It was a worklight.
Keep practicing, I'm sure you will have it perfected in no time.

That's pretty cool really. I originally thought it too underexposed but I tend to think that it's more the on-cameraa flash that's flattening it rather than the exposure

Could you have done something about the lighting? I guess the highlights are due to the flas you used? The highlights take away from the picture :(

Fantastic idea and wonderfully captured! It's almost perfect but seems like it may have benefitted from a slightly fast shutter speed? Maybe it's just me, but I love the shot anyways! 8o)
