very nice - captures emotion on a number of levels.

One of my favorites. Good choice of B&W as well as the border which further emphasizes the black lines already in the short. I wish the vertical lines were just a bit more vertical.

nice title use. it creates a story. don\'t know if it was intentional to create the feel of this, but a bit too pixely.

like the sepia tones, think the focus might have been improved, might have been from the downsizing.

I am not sure I sense calm in this shot but it does evoke emotion

good luck, the sepia colouring and graininess appearance gives to the reality of this shot.

Good lighting, I like the texture.

This is absolutely superb and one of the strongest entries I've seen on DPC for a long time. Nicely coloured, good use of grain, strong verticals and horizontals make for strong composition, screams the challenge theme but so much more besides that...
10, Kavey

This is quite good. The noise in this image works for me. Having the image softer would have taken away from its power to convey loneliness, poverty, helpless ness. Keep up the good work.

Well seen, a tighter crop on the right possibly makes it work better.
