For my silhouette image, re this challenge, I had a idea all planned.
We went down to the beach, an hour before dusk, to look for a spot, and to set up ready for the silhouette shoot.
Peter waited in the background, and after I took some test images, the sun went down behind some clouds, and I missed our chance, as the sun didn't return.
We went home without any images, but returned the next evening.
This time I was well planned and set up, again waiting for the right moment.
It was quite cloudy, so was a little concerned.
Finally Peter put his fishing line in, and we took the shots that I wanted.
I am very pleased with the results.
I love it, because it has my very special partner, husband, and soulmate Peter, in a state of solitude, enjoying the peace and quiet of the evening.

I love the exposure and the tones of this shot. I have to say that the pole placement might have been a bit more thought out LOL. I saw one other comment regarding that, but it's a nit pick as the overall feeling is indeed, one of solitude.

This was a truly beautiful tranquil image that will always be of great meaning to you because of your love for your husband...print it and hang this somewhere in the house; somewhere you will walk by and remember how important love can be in our lives.

This should have finished higher in this challenge, it leaves some of the images in front of you for dead, that's DPC, well done Shez

Nice colors. The non-descript buildings in the background don't do much.

This silhouette has lovely tones of sunlight that remind me of the evenings here on our beaches in New England...I like the position of the subject in the right of frame with the sun streaming behind and above the clouds...well composed.

Umm...hmmm...I'll refrain from commenting until after the voting is over - I want to see the story first. It's a nice photo and I'm going to go with a 7. Hey, it's better then the average for my photo at the moment!

Your subject is getting lost in the background. I think getting more of a profile him would improve the lines of the silhouette as well.

Nice shot, although slightly over sharpened as you can see a hbalo around the head and backside of the fisherman

Very dramatic sky, but doesn't at all fight with the sereneness of the man fishing. Well done!

Nice shot Shez - although if I may be so bold and pose a perspective that will hopefully not offend - the placement of the fishing rod is precarious yet subliminally impressive.

Nicely done image, with the use of the water to act as a secondary background, this should score well.
