 One of the many monuments at Gettysburg, depicting a Union soldier preparing to fend off the Confederate charge. Took a picture of this one almost as an afterthought. Came home and found this challenge. Must be destiny!

Post Processing:

(1) Auto Level
(2) Color Variations: Darkened and added Red. Might of removed some Green at some point.
(3) A touch (1 pix) of Gaussian Blur to clean up some weird fringing around the silhouette.

striking choice of color for your background. The way this is taken its almost hard to tell which way hes looking which adds alot of interest. Only thing i could say would make this better is to even out the darker color in the clouds, only possible in advanced i know but i wouldnt deduct for that. A very interesting picture and fits the challenge perfectly
