Great capture! There is one very similar in this weeks Amateur Photographer (29th July). It finished 4th in the Shadows comp. At first glance I thought it was yours but I think yours is better. Congrats on your ribbon!

| This is quite nice; you have a great movement achieved here; perhaps it shows how "organic" humans are, when viewed against a background of white and black stripes. It also has a quality bigger than the shot itself; a "walk into the light " sort of quality. A bigger spiritual meaning. nice. |

| This really is a masterpiece! It's so stark, so wonderfully high in contrast and so powerful in it's composition too. I really like the sitting figure though the two walkers are of course integral too. Just a fantastic use of light and shadow, a fantastic eye for composition and beautifully executed too. I love it! |
