This has the potential to be a really nice image, but it is pixilated which probably occurred when you resized. There is a tutorial about resizing for dpc, please read it and don't give up.

Your photo is very grainy and pixilized. Im not sure if it has to do with the compression or something else. Im sorry, at this point I can only offer up observation and not so much suggestion.

Good work but the pencil needs to be further from the others for better bokeh.

This lacks real interest...

I think you went a little too heavy on the compression or something and lost some crucial quality. (the blotchy pixelation areas on the paper) Good concept and composition though.

Check the "quality" setting in the "Save for Web" window... As far as the picture goes, this would, in my opinion, benefit from a slightly lower angle.

Maybe if the colors of the pencils in the background really "popped" and were bright and arranged, this could be a more interesting photo.

I think you used too low of a JPEG quality setting when you converted this shot. That removed a lot of detail from an otherwise strong entry.

Interesting idea. Just too dark and not sharp enough on the subject.

there is an outline around pencil. i'm not real good at editing, but I think it's from over sharpening? I could be wrong.
