Should have probably said "Don't Patronize Clint" but in the end I thought Conway rolled off the tongue better.

Surprised this one didn't do better than top 20... Awesome shot. The technical 'flaws' that some have pointed out to me make this work.

Came back to this as one of my faves in the challenge.

Incidentally, I think the 'technical flaws' such as lighting and focus are perfectly complemented by the suit...

It reminds me very much of Tom Cruise's suit in Collateral which the director commented in the DVD voice-over was intended to look like a good suit, tailor, but probably tailored in MongKok, HongKong rather than in Milan or something...

This suit is not of that level of quality, but it has a similar appropriateness for the rest of the shot.

Bad day at the office? ;) Nice use of perspective and lighting. Unsure about the background. Personally, I would have given it a more urban/gritty feel like something from the film 'Get Carter'. Good overall job though (7)

Yes, I see it. This is one of those British crime thrillers. Funny and exciting. Nice job.

05/08/2006 04:25:15 AM
what I am looking for in this challenge is for a creative 'wow' shot that would go on a movie poster. I think that's what the challenge is all about...This is fantastic...it could be a Jim Carey type comedy...well done, great wide angle shot 9
