That looks like a huge giant shadow all the way up to the sky.

I love the shadows, excellent idea.

Hmm...I was going to suggest darkening the sky or the whole thing, but I've decided that making me want to squint is probably the desired effect.

Well-composed, I like the mood set in this shot. 7-ClubJuggle.

Suggestion: Put the people more up and to the right, catch the whole shadows.

nicely done--getting all the different lighting effects, from the wisps of cloud in the sky, to the shadows on the ground

A different angle where the sun doesn't compete withe rest of the photo would have worked much better.

I'm not crazy 'bout this pic...so you will probably come in first...lol I don't usually pick 'em right. I think what I don't like is there is no clear story here. Where are they going and why???
07/15/2002 06:34:00 PM
Nice thought, but ouch. Sun washes out much of this shot. Kinda interesting sun rings, how did you avoid lens flares? 6 Swash

Wow - i can NEVER get any pictures of the sun to come out. This is beautiful!

Nice shot just a bit too dark.
07/15/2002 02:02:00 PM
The bright sun right at the camera just doesn't do this justice. This has the look of a snapshot rather than a professional photo .
07/15/2002 01:53:00 PM
Cool shot. I wish the sun was more defined and there weren't any other people in the background.
07/15/2002 01:12:00 PM
Not a bad picture but just a tad dull. If the figures were more interesting or doing something it would have made a much better shot.
07/15/2002 06:01:00 AM
Shadows would be even longer if not cropped out (lower tilt and slightly different composition. Would also appear longer if cropped leaving lower left 3/4 of image.
07/15/2002 03:33:00 AM
Not bad. I think if you had aimed a bit left and down, you would have the 2 guys in a better position (rule of thirds), and you might have been able to get the entire shadow in the shot.
