Great composition.
07/21/2002 10:27:00 PM
Simple, but nice. Hard to believe that no one was in sight here.
07/21/2002 07:14:00 PM
Nice shot! Maybe you did it on purpose but I think less DOF would be better. Either focus on the palm trees or the building. Anyway. The photo captures a very serene mood :-)
07/21/2002 06:13:00 PM
i wish i was there! a little overexposed overall.
07/21/2002 05:34:00 PM
A bit too bright. Also, I might have tried shifting the tree to the left a bit, and left "dead space" to the right (assuming you had room in your crop). Might have imparted a more exotic feel.

cool
07/20/2002 10:40:00 PM
Gorgeous and deserted. How lucky are you? My only suggestion would be to have taken the picture a few more feet to your right. It seems a little unbalanced to me because the building is right under the tree limb, and there is nothing in the right 1/3 of the picture (except beautiful white sand, blue sky, etc.).

I like the way you angled it to get the braces of the lifeguard platform to mirror the palm fronds.

This is good, but evening or morning light would really make it dramatic.

Excellent composition, the cropping is perfect, especially on the left side. Very serene and relaxing, now where's that Corona? 7-ClubJuggle.

i wouldn't mind being there right now. overall, i think the shot could do with just a little bit of gamma reduction and less brigthness. that way, the beach has a little more texture to it and it nost so almost-white. -- gr8photos (5)

Like a postcard, which is good and bad. It's a safe image...and technically well done... doesn't give me enuf of a reason to stay and look at it, however... maybe it needs more water.. or a person... or more striking shadows... or something 5 sjgleah

overexposed

beautiful

Babe Watch without the babes. Beautiful beach. Nothing bad in my eyes.

This should be on some vacation spot travel brochure :) very nice! = 9 - jmsetzler

I like the framing of the trees. The life guard booth distracts from the impact of the shot for me. Otherwise, nicely done.
07/17/2002 09:44:00 PM
color seems to be a bit washed out.
07/17/2002 02:25:00 PM
Oh yes! Hey where are the people? A beach like that and no people. wierd.
Great shot though :)
07/17/2002 12:32:00 PM
good composition
07/17/2002 10:40:00 AM
interesting.
07/17/2002 10:13:00 AM
I'd love to be here. The colors on this are beautiful. The blues of the sky and the blue of the water against the white sandy beach....sigh. If you live here, you are lucky. 9 - KDJohnson

Nice photo but I'm affraid you lose points for being on a tropical beach in the last week when I've been stuck here!
07/17/2002 12:41:00 AM
I wanna be here now !!! Good subject ... Looks a little washed out and maybe a tad too much sharpening ... Maybe a little out of focus on the sand ... Still I like it ... 8 ... RLS
07/16/2002 06:04:00 PM
too much like a postcard.
07/16/2002 11:13:00 AM
A little too empty on the right, otherwise nice!
07/16/2002 11:07:00 AM
Beautiful shot
07/16/2002 11:00:00 AM
very peaceful. nice.
07/16/2002 09:44:00 AM
a bit too centered - if there was nothing to the right of this, it might work well with the tree on the far left, the hut on the left and then some open space ?
07/16/2002 05:08:00 AM
Niiice. I wish I was there!! Great colors, good job :) 8
07/16/2002 02:23:00 AM
really really nice colors. The sand looks just a tad over-exposed in some places, so you lose some nice texture. I really like the shot, though. I feel serene already!
07/16/2002 01:44:00 AM
I like how your title works very well with this photo. Quite amazing that you see a beach this beautiful and no people! ahh the tranqulity! 9
07/15/2002 11:47:00 PM
Calgon take me away. Beautiful beach. I wish the entire grouping of trees were in the photo. 8 Lisa
07/15/2002 09:42:00 PM
I don't know where it is, but I want to be there! :-)
07/15/2002 04:59:00 PM
Very nice, but I feel like the top of the photo was cropped. 8
07/15/2002 02:06:00 PM
Beautiful ! A polarizer filter would really deepen the colors into that rich tourist/travel guide effects you see. Maybe even get a bit of that with PhotoShop levels. PERFECT crop !
07/15/2002 01:48:00 PM
I know it's tough to get everything exposed correctly on a shot like this, but I think I'd like it more if the sand was exposed correctly and the trees were a little dark. Also, the horizon isn't level.
07/15/2002 01:09:00 PM
aahhh...
07/15/2002 01:04:00 PM
Frank: Serenity nowww! One of my favs!! <lol> Lovely shot with great color. It's speaking peace serenity, quiet, calm. The blue is good and very calm. Nice shot.

07/15/2002 11:14:00 AM
ok I want to live ther
07/15/2002 10:19:00 AM
This is a pretty picture but lacking an interesting focal point. I like the sky color
07/15/2002 08:42:00 AM
Gorgeous blue sky. Great framing for the life house. Excellent photograph.
07/15/2002 07:53:00 AM
Nice composition and straight horizon!
07/15/2002 01:47:00 AM
Nice shot. I like the composition of the beach and sky, but might have tried getting a different angle so the lifeguard tower wasnt right in the center.
07/15/2002 01:37:00 AM
"Serenity now!!!!!!!!"
07/15/2002 01:00:00 AM
Wish I was there right now!
