| the quality was so crappy because i didnt use my usual camera, but a much inferior one, and because i cropped the head out of the pic at close to 100%. I thought if I converted it to black n white and threw some grain on it, I could get an old movie effect. Anyway, this is part of a viking demon thing in a magic shop in Salem, Massachussetts. |

| Your choice of subject held LOTS of potential, and I even like your decision to go to black and white. Your image quality is, though, is horrid -- how is this a 95k image? Did you save it from a gif? |

| The black and white works well. It seems a little pixelated, making me think you either a) cropped it out of a larger picture b)oversharpened or c) didn't focus well and tried to fix it later. There are other reasons, I suppose, but those are the ones I do the most often. :-) |

| IMO, the soft focus didn't work. This would have been much more striking (to me) in sharp focus. |

| Good choice on the black and white. I definitely wouldn't want to run into him in a dark alley. Too bad it's so pixelated. Effing Kodak!!! ;-) |

| Did you over sharpen this? The teeth and shoulder bones have weird little white dots indicative of Photoshop sharpening, in my limited experience. The eyes are quite nice however. |

| Surreal look, guessing, but did you over sharpen? Skulls don't have tongues. Bizarre, but scary. 7 Swash |

| focus is off, very grainy image. other than that I really like it. Probably could have captured more at the bottom and left off the open space at the top. |
