| thank you for all of your comments. I tried this with the map folded out, but you couldn't see the roads clearly. Being 10, I didn't want to pour a drink to amke it clearer, but the comments here show me I could've used water or something to make it more dramatic. |

| without the title it looks like Alabama is a great place to drink. focus on bottom of bottle makes depth of field in rest of photo look like it is out of focus |

| Good idea, but the execution is a little sterile for my taste. I wonder if you might have had more of an impact with someone, open botlte in hand, reading the map. |

| Great subject. Definitely one of my fears when I'm out driving late at night. I'm not too fond of the composition though...the carpetting doesn't help the message any. Maybe if the picture was of the bottle in the seat of a car? |

| this shot is a little flat. did you (or can you) play with the saturation, contrast and sharpening? i tried it and can send you a copy if you want. also, this would have been really cool on pavement, maybe over a double yellow line, instead of carpet. as far as the challenge goes, I think you have done well. karmat |

| Of them or for them? Carpet doesn't add much to the shot (but it is clean). Title abiguity. This is just part of the story. A smashed up car, a grave, happy drunks or along that line would have told more story. 4 Swash |

| Yes, drunk drivers are something to fear. But this bottle doesn't even look open, and the map doesn't really give enough context to driving. An empty bottle next to a car wheel would have been more representative, I think. |

| Too exposed and uninspiring to me. Without the title this just tells me that in Alabama you can get a 5th of Bacardi to go with your rental car. Good idea but more impact would be a car crash. I would stage this with a blank background, focus better and work on that overexposure. |
