You must have cropped out the ant.
07/07/2002 01:08:00 PM
Cool shot.

Heheheh... very cite. Creative title. An extra point for humor value.
07/07/2002 08:58:00 AM
Clever. It would be even more clever if there was an ant in there too!
07/07/2002 03:15:00 AM
Where is the ant?
07/06/2002 07:23:00 PM
You could also re-do this (outside challenge rules) with a double exposure -- one with pear, one without.

wow.. the lighting on this shot and the overall composition is just amazing. great work! = 10 - jmsetzler

Where's the ant? Not very interesting, although it meets the challenge, I guess. 3 sjgleah
07/04/2002 04:35:00 AM
Very creative!
07/03/2002 10:49:00 PM
ha ha----well done---10 but I still haven't found the ant
07/03/2002 10:37:00 PM
should have placed an ant in the glass as well
07/03/2002 06:45:00 PM
This lighting is a little off for the subject, could use more light on the background. I do not like the handle on the glass either.
07/03/2002 01:40:00 PM
Very well done technically and artistically. Paul.

Cute title, nice, crisp and clear photo. Great idea for this challenge and nicely done.

I love it! I almost did something related.... I was going to photograph my Vietnamese neighbor, whose son's name is Tran. So she is Tran's parent.......
Anyway, I like the way you played with the the word, and your photo is tight.

Nice word play on title but pic a little boring, a pear in glass.
07/02/2002 05:59:00 PM
Harhar. You should have put an ant in there too! 6.
07/02/2002 03:24:00 PM
creative 6 interesting 7 focus 9 framing 3= 6 I would have liked to see the whole glass.
07/02/2002 02:51:00 PM
ok picture but if you could have just found an ant to pose for you crawling across the pear it would have completed the picture.
07/02/2002 11:11:00 AM
Pretty photo. very sharp
07/02/2002 10:27:00 AM
Nice shot, good color on the pear (very slightly over exposed on the top) but the handle on the side of the glass is where my eye keeps going.

Cool photo. Made me chuckle. I don't want to 'pare' it apart, but just two things: the white could've been whiter and the reflection of the ends of the sturdyboard are too ap'pare'nt. Would've been more effective with larger sturdyboard. I had trouble wth the white balance as well and didn't even realize it until someone pointed it out to me.
Creative idea. Nice work.

Fun play on words. Very good photo. Could you have turned the pear so the dent wasn't showing? (Just kidding, referencing a comment of MY shot, ha)

Where's the ant? You got a clean shot with only a minor burnout on the pear.
07/01/2002 06:45:00 PM
I like the clarity of this picture ... Also the name is very appropriate for the challenge.
07/01/2002 06:30:00 PM

07/01/2002 05:42:00 PM

07/01/2002 03:35:00 PM
HeeHee. I like the use of humor. Now if only you had a giant ant somewhere in teh picture. :-)
07/01/2002 03:03:00 PM
Nice work, good idea. Well done, great title....play on words. Tad over exposed at the top of the pear, but I see your lighting here. Kee
07/01/2002 02:13:00 PM
Very cool idea, well composed
07/01/2002 01:13:00 PM
Where's the ant? Nice pix.
07/01/2002 12:42:00 PM
I REALLY like this a lot. It's something I would even hang in my house. My ONLY issue and I'm sure you'll hear this a lot this week...is the handle. I think it would be better without that part even in the photo. I don't see a way to crop it off so it would take a different glass or vase.
07/01/2002 12:38:00 PM
nice... : )
