I was thinking this would get at least top 50. The background threw it a bit for me, bringing it down to a 9. I got a bit of astro-turf feel from it, rather than a classy satin or velvet.
She is lovely and in spite of the somewhat artificial look, I love that eye!
The hair is well done too. |

I thought I would see this stunning image in top twenty... at least. Unique angle and very artistic editing. Adorable work. |

Not normally a fan of selective desat but this is perfect. Great composition and I love the background. |

Interesting shot, but the enhancement in the eye doesn't work for me. 6. |

nice job, b&w need work, great texture, nice color, minimalistic, comp interesting, angle interesting, light flat, overall a strong contendor |

I really like this. The stong off-centre view makes for an interesting composition. The selective desat. does a really god job to attract the eye to her face. Not sure if this would have been as good without the slective desat. Good work. |

Blue Eyes is going to fight it out with Red Pumps. Simply great. 9 Here. BOL
I take it that is grass she is laying in?!
Simply thinking out loud: I was, and am, bothered by the texture. I am guessing it is meant to offset the soft skin? |

Sorry but I have to say that I STRONGLY dislike the eyes, they don´t even remind me of eyes anymore but like someone put tiny little CD´s over her irises. I still gave this a 6 as the composition and rest of the shot are pretty good. |

This is very nice! My only nit-pick would be that her whites seem too grayish, like there might have been a touch of bloodshot. The blue is very vivid and bright....not natural color but really pops! |

I love the eyes and the fact we can't see the whole face. Really nice work! The high contrast works brilliantly too :) |

Eyes are just a *little* too hyper-realistic for my tastes. Even with contacts, that's just too metallic. It's a nice unique portrait though, and good B&W conversion. |

I stopped longer at this photo than for most of the others, It took me a while to make up my mind what I really think of it, then it must be interesting I think. Yes, I really like it, maybe you should have had the eyes more blue, not cyan, but otherwise this is interesting and creative, well done! |

The hair creates some interesting lines. Good job. The eyes are a nice job of selective desaturation without overdoing it. |

Interesting compostion. If it were me I'd boost the contrast and brightness just a bit. |
