This is terrific. Love the very shallow DOF and the twisty vine. Well done.

Fantastic macro. This is sure to do well. Love the swirls, the background color and the way the lady bug just pops from the image. Great work.

I love it. That swirling line matches the whimsical nature of the lady bug perfectly.

Wendy, This is one of my favourites of yours. Pleasantly coloured bokeh, some nice textures and the vine is nice to follow. This shot is ver nicely composed with perfect placement of the leaf, the ladbug and the line of the vine. Good luck with this!

Nice macro shoot. Like how tight the focus is - that the edge of the leaf is out of focus. I think the center enhances this image. On a more symbolical level, this image could be compared to life - we all begin at the leaf. Innocence, childhood, happiness (well, hopefully), but then we set out on the journey of life. And the journey of life is like this image, we usually don't know where it's going, because it circles round and goes up and down, but somepoint in our lives we must choose either to believe in Jesus Christ, or not. The road down to hell is smooth and straight, without many twists, and easy to walk down. But the road to heaven is right, but hard to follow because it is against our human nature. It leads up into the light, and into eternal life. And we can see this lady bug as ourselves, making this journey. That's what I get out of it, so thanks for sharing =), and God bless your final outcome.

Nice macro, I really like the background. Focus seems a little soft on the ladybug.

This is a very good macro shot. To me, it is a bit flat (colorwise) and a bit muted (lighting wise) for my tastes. The subject seems a bit to centered in the frame which draws everything into viewing just the center, more then the whole frame of the image. Not quite a 10, but close.

Needs a bit more DOF to ensure the subject itself is sharp (maybe by just one more stop so the rest remains out of focus) - but beautiful eye-catching piece.
