Trained a mouse to jump on command for 3 weeks hehe. No, actually it's on a glass table and the shot is from under it. This pic was made with the help of labuda and medo.

For those who don't get the title, I figured everyone would assume that the picture represented Mauriphobia, fear of mice. However i titled it Anthrophobia because it's suppose to be seen from the mouses perspective. Mice are just as scared of us giants as we are of them, hence the mouse being in the foreground, in focus. Maybe had i called this photo "Mauriphobia", I would have gotten a better score. oh well. 6th place for a second submission ain't bad

Superb - I can almost hear the person screaming, that face expression is so perfect. :) Very good shot!

This image deserves a ribbon because of the unique method of capture, the angle, the raging scream and then this little cutie pie. Well, Congratulations on your top ten finish.

This is the only image so far that does not rely on the title to express the phobia. It shows the fear and the object of fear and conveys the message instantly. Well done. Only the mouse on the glass plate from underneath looks a bit unnatural, just on the floor might have been better, but I realise it would have been more difficult to get the composition right.

anthropophobia is fear of people or human companionship - this looks more like fear of rats to me although photo is wel shot!!

Your main subjec (rat) is well done and I like the blurred girl with broom, however I think it may have been better without the background walls window etc. Good job "6"

6 - Good angle/perspective. Criticism; according to 'the list' your title is a fear of people or society, so 'who knows' there. If the tail were able to be incorporated and the 'specks' not on (presumably) the glass, make this even better in my opinion. edit:read your comments, I 'get it' now, but still, you portrayed a person 'in fear'; now if the mouse was cowering, screeching and holding a little broom - different story

Great set up! I love the looking through the glass perspective. Your model's doing a great job of showing fear! (unless the fear is real, then I'd say "very nice capture" on your part). Very cool. <10>

I just love this shot. The mouse is so sharp, and looks menacing in that pose (tossed through the air?). I was thinking "fear of mice", but Anthropophobia is fear of flowers. Is it in the right challenge? Would have been a good one for DOF also, which may have been your intention. Either way, great shot! 9

When I saw this I thought "fear of mice", then I read the title and realized that this is the mouse's view. Reminds me of an old Twilight Zone Episode, "The Invaders" where an alien space craft with little creatures crashes into the farmhouse where an old woman lives. Anyway, I'm drifting off subject. This gets a good score!

I have seen this little guy somewhere before:) But it does kinda confuse me with the title, anthropophobia: Fear of people or society. I really like the composion, but why did you put him on glass (sucks the focal plane is so much so on the glass can alot of the spects of stuff on it) Its a good idea 7

Fantastic! The first mouse/rat picture to show actual fear, not just the object of fear. Great job!

Cute mouse... great use of focus to emphasize the mouse... and excellent way to portray the scary phobia associated with the little guy by having the girl in the background, and with her broom no less! Yep.. all around wonderfully done. A 10! :)

Love the position and capture of the mouse - it looks airborn, almost. Would be better if the person were less central or more in focus.

I think your title should have been Musophobia, Murophobia or Suriphobia because Anthropophobia means fear of people or society.

I also would have made sure that the glass is spotless, your many spots are quite distracting.
Having said all that, now I move onto the positive. I LOVE IT !!! It was a clever idea, and truly shows the fear not just the object of the fear. Very nice !!!!! 8

This is great!!! I was wondering how to do this shot! Only thing that might kep it from getting a high score is the speckles on the glass. I think it really good!! (8)

Hmm....anthropophobia ? I thought anthropophobia was a fear of people or society...the picture seems to be conveying fear of mice...nice picture with a wrong title to go with it, methinks...

Suriphobia- Fear of mice. Would have worked as a title
Anthropophobia- Fear of people or society - I had trouble with. Really like the picture though.

This is VERY interesting that you eschewed the obvious "musophobia" (the woman's clearly in a tizzy here) for the much more subtle phobia of the mouse :-) This is nicely done. Pity about that damned speck ain't it? It's not costing you any points from me :-)

Poor chap. Successful at coneying the fear. To be the balance of the image is a bit off. Not sure what the solution would be though.

Absolutely fantastic. A 9 from me. 10 if the screamer was also in focus, but that would've been quite a feat. Great job though.
