Excellent detail captured in the rooster and I like the way the red contrasts well with the B&W.

I find the red to strong, in my humble opinion it could have been toned down a little.

It's a great shot. Did you remove the colour from the background? If so I think it may have been better left in - his beak disappears into the grey somewhat. Focus and clarity is wonderful and that red is stunning. Well done.

He might be happier if you called him a rooster instead of a chicken. 8

The red is SO vidid. It actually makes me wish there was more vivid color in the rest of the shot. I love the shapes of the.. umm... thingees. Good cropping. Little dark, but still a great shot.

This is great character - and I\'ve never seen one in this detail before. The comb[?] looks really tangible. Result - [8]

very good saturation, or whatever you did to it (I'd be interested in knowing what steps you took). Chickens always look bothered, so I love the essence of your shot. Excellnt focus quality as well. I give you an 8.

Well for a chicken pic (I've tried to take pics of them at my parents house), this is a great shot. I love the desaturation except for the red and the eye. 8.

Great detail on the chicken. Playing with the saturation led to a picture with good impact.

The red really stands out well. Did you desaturate the colors here? Worked very well if you did. The main subject is very sharp and detailed - 9.

The B&W - photoshop cloour trcik is soooooooo overused it's bscomeing tacky.
The red is way to deeply sturated it looks overdone.

Shame as the picture is great in every other aspect.
