Special Thanks to Carina, and Agata for helping with the setup and lighting.

PS: Who could name these three theorems?

For those who commented about the pencil in the hand VS the sharpie written cheat sheet. I don't see any inconstency... she probably wrote up the cheat sheet at home not to get caught, and this depicts her right before her exam when she's holding the pencil in her hand. The twirling of the pencil suggests her being relaxed and confident because of the answers on her leg.

not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but the background is an ugly muddy color, I would have tried to blow it out with a flash or something.

otherwise though nice.
12/03/2005 05:21:29 PM
I still think the leg is at a good angle ;)
12/02/2005 05:39:15 PM
I don't think the title will fit to this picture. I rather call "the Seducer". Anyhow, congratualtions!
12/02/2005 05:06:03 AM
Reminds me of highschool and trying to cheat off the cheerleader in the next desk ;-) Great shot. Congrats on the ribbon/

*Critique Club*

Ok how do I get so lucky, I get some of the best photos to critique. You did an awesome job and a very well deserved ribbon! The first thing that grabbed me was the head missing, great idea(can you tell I am a girl? My husband of course noticed the legs). The crop is very unique and demands attention. I think the hand poses of the model are great, the middle finger is very suttle. I think a brighter nail polish would have taken away from the overall effect of the shot (like someone had commented). I really don't see anything I would change you did an excellent job! Congrats!

i can name these theorems. The first two are the basic limit laws. the last one is anti-derivative.
11/30/2005 06:07:44 AM
Great work. Made me check out the rest of your portfolio, some great images in there!
11/30/2005 01:47:53 AM
Oh WOW! There is something written on her leg.
I was checking out her thigh, mid drift and tight shirt.
I'll bet she has a great smile to go with her body.
More please!

11/29/2005 01:00:20 PM
i gave it a ten by the way - despite my criticism.

11/29/2005 10:20:15 AM
Holy Cr*p! That's hot!
11/29/2005 12:52:14 AM
great image. the pose is just great, and I also read this image the way you describe in your commentary. Congratulations on making another addition to your collection of ribbons - now hurry up and round it out with a blue already!
11/28/2005 09:56:15 PM

Congratulations. x]

I didn't check to see if you got previous comments about this, but she's holding a pencil and the theorems are clearly not written in pencil! Perhaps it was meant to be like a "hey look, I just got a 100 hundred on a 'number-2 pencil only' test because of the cheat sheet i wrote with my sharpie this morning" type of thing?

And this was a really cute idea! I'm embarrassed to admit I do this cheating action. And it also helps to write a cheat sheet in the cover of your calculator for math! Not that I cheat often or anything... Wow this comment makes me seem like a very bad student. Anyway, great job!
11/28/2005 03:37:41 PM
1st one is the definition of a derivative

2nd is the mean value theorem

3rd one is difficult to see but I'm pretty sure it's the first fundamental theorem of calculus... I'm assuming that should F(b) - F(a), not f(b) - F(a).
11/28/2005 03:23:35 PM
Rolles and Lagranges theorem...
bingo i guess
n the first one is the concept of differentiation
grt pic btw

Glad to see this one ribbon. One of my favorite in this challenge. Congratulations!
11/28/2005 02:19:15 AM
Only two theorems, fundamental theorem of calculus, mean value theorem. The other one is the definition of derivative. Great shot, well deserved ribbon, congratulations !
11/28/2005 02:05:16 AM
congrats! nice! :)

I love leggy cheat sheets.... 9 no....a 10 Sould Ribbon
11/27/2005 10:32:31 PM
I think I would like to help her with that formula!
11/27/2005 09:59:15 PM
Nicely done with that flirtacious flare. Bumping up.
11/27/2005 08:59:03 PM
She's gonna need a longer skirt to get away with that..
11/27/2005 08:54:35 PM
great picture. true cheater
11/27/2005 04:36:08 PM
Clever idea. Maybe a little short skirt to cheat in. I hope the teather is a woman.
11/27/2005 08:51:17 AM
She'd get an A in my class, nice.
11/26/2005 11:16:54 PM
one of the more unique takes on this challenge. extra points for not having an ace up her skirt.
11/26/2005 04:01:08 PM
A cool cheater! Nice idea and great shot, 9!
11/26/2005 11:37:56 AM
Nice capure. Cool pose. I may have preferred her head in the crop but you have done well as it is!
11/26/2005 02:15:36 AM
Geat idea and comp!
11/26/2005 01:02:16 AM
I don't think the skirt will hide that ;0)
good image 7 for now
11/25/2005 08:06:47 PM
haha, love it!!!! great photo, even better idea!
11/24/2005 05:34:10 PM
oh that kind of exam
11/23/2005 07:06:19 PM
If I were her teacher I would very probably bust her.
11/23/2005 06:36:01 PM
Really nice well focused and lit shot.
Love the Mischit you have captured.
Not sure if this shot would have been better with the face in shot?
Still a 10 from me.
Good luck

Kev
11/23/2005 05:49:37 PM
fun way to show school cheating!
11/23/2005 04:39:41 PM
...because the hand is so unsexy! I always catch the cheaters but they never hide "it" there! I tried to convince my wife to do the same but now I'm glad she didn't (don't tell her I said that). Great job!
11/23/2005 03:07:41 AM
She needs a longer skirt to cover all of that!
11/22/2005 10:16:07 PM
good pose and i like the way you cut it. if i had to change anything it'd be the shirt (mayeb logner a bit, no hole on the boob section and fold back the sleeve?) an d alighter background.
i like her nails
11/22/2005 08:09:07 AM
great Idea
11/22/2005 06:57:32 AM
Beautiful model...beautiful cheating. A unique shot.
11/22/2005 02:08:53 AM
Why is the writing on her leg made with a pen and she has a pencil in her hand? ;)
11/21/2005 08:10:16 PM
i think the cheat sheet might go lower than the skirt ;}
composition isn't spot on ( upper left is tight, head being cut off is awkward ). very professional looking though. good luck
11/21/2005 01:44:32 PM
Very creative! Way to go making a cheater look so appealing -- at least to the guys I'm sure :) I like the way you composed / cropped this too.
11/21/2005 03:12:21 AM
Ok you have my attention as wel,l 10 for the legs
11/21/2005 01:19:21 AM
great picture!
11/21/2005 12:53:34 AM
Nicely done.
11/21/2005 12:19:49 AM
CLEVER!! I had a friend in high school who would wear a long tie and have the entire set of equations on a piece of paper stuck to it.

This is much sexier! ROFL Really well done.
