i think this is a better shot than the results indicate..creative and interesting..certainly the border is a bold choice..hey i think making choices is what being creative is all about..nice work..
tones and saturation are great...

I really love this photo! I love the effect of the blur and the grain. To me, it's one of the best in the challenge, but I was afraid when I saw it that the dpc border police would get you (this is one border-hating bunch). It is truly a beautiful photo!

I like the concept of this photo, but it could have been more crisp and clear.

I think I would really love this picture if it wasn't for the border. It really takes away from the mystical feel of the picture. I love the softness of it.

The framing really works. Without it I think that this would be bland and uninteresting.

I like the picture but not the black frame.

a lovely image but too much border for me. It is too harsh against the soft colours and serene feel of the picture

I guess if I was a technically schooled photographer I could find something to criticize, but I just like this mood. Very nice.

Does the border need to be so big? It's distracting

Interesting study. Not perfect, but interesting nonetheless.

Except for the frame, I can see this image hanging in a gallery somewhere :) Beautiful! 9

Nice compostion. The horizontal line is in just the right spot IMHO.

A little grainy, but I think it adds to the mood. I like the blue cast, too.

the horizontal line right in the middle of the picture makes for a very interesting picture indeed.

I like the photo, it has a nice softness about it. The border however is way too large and using a solid black detracts from the forementioned mood for me. I think this would have greater impact with a much, much smaller border and maybe using a gray blue color from the photo itself.

Great capture, but quite grainy and somewhat blurry... if it were one or the other, I think it would be OK, but between the two of them, this just looks unclean
