 This is Kilgore Falls, at the Falling Branch area of Rocks State Park in Harford County, Maryland. If you ever saw the movie "Tuck Everlasting", you've seen these falls before.

Shot with a circular polarizer and exposure compensation of -1 stop.

In Photoshop, resized, levels, USM, Shadow/Highlight, USM again.

Very nice motion on the waterfall!! The sky in the upper right hand corner is a bit distracting. Other than that, looks good.

need to work on the shadow/highlights a bit IMHO

I think a graduated neutral density filter would have helped keep color in the sky and detail in the highlights of the trees. But I hate it when it seems the only solution is to spend more money, so I'm at a loss. Nice blur on the water.

I like this photo I think it would be better if the sunshine area at the top was cropped off.
