i like glass ;}

thanks for the votes & comments - my highest finish yet. taken about an hour before deadline after a 6 pack...

i tried this concept two other times and failed. there is no reflection - the verticle glass is set on an inverted glass. the lighting is halogen shop lights below the glasses, aimed at a blue wall. these particular glasses actually sort of locked together in that position which made it easy compared to my previous efforts with different glasses - i was actually trying to counter weight the upper glass with water, sand, corn meal, a rock, among other things, and they all failed. the trick was using different glasses ;}

my gripe with it is the dark blotchy refraction to the lower left of the orange liquid. but i didn't notice until it was too late.

I would have liked to see a color shift between two contrasting colors in the glasses.... the burn in the middle is more than I'd prefer

Great setup (gradiation in the background, reflections in the foreground. Expect this to finish highly. Good use of complementary color.
