This is so cinematic and emotive, I am surprised and please it did so well. Some thing we can all relate to in a very fantasy driven group, this stood out like a true life story should.

One of my top picks in the challenge. Should finish very high... however my only critique is that I would have liked a bit less cropping to get the upper half of the girls head in frame.

Ehhh... just went back and I think that the cropping works. Good job.

I like the concept but not the execution. Quite dark overall. Also the huge border is very annoying to me.

this is the best photo in the lot. the image is disturbing, as it was surely meant to be and effective. the girls in the BG are blurry enough to be the "faceless mass" but their postures say all that there is to say. the dark and gray tones are perfectly fitting.
This should net you a ribbon, but you'll probably get conspired against :)
Best of luck

I don't know if this is a conspiracy, per se or just girls being girls.....mean more like it!

Great capture however and it really makes my heart go out to the girl in the foreground. It is a painful experience and you captured it well!

Border's a bit thick, but a good shot nonetheless. I love the emotion and the mood this has.
Good job!

Awww. . . how sad!!!! Unfortunately, that is an all-too-common conspiracy with kids, isn't it! Great portrayal of conspiracy. I really like this a lot.

well heidi is this you? In any case.. whoever this is.. you are able to make magic lighting.... i can't quite put my figure on what it is though... or how it is done.... but makes for very intriguing photos.

I think you could crop out a little bit of the left side, maybe in the middle of the tree, but I really like this shot. The black border certainly gives it a certain impact to the viewer, but I think it might be a little excessive. I do like the inner border.

remind me a lot of this: //dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=145061

photographically, I like this one better - the focus is sharper on the foreground, and the color treatment is good - but the title kind of confuses me. the pieces are arranged nicely, but it very much looks staged.

Awww, my first reaction was I feel sorry for the girl in front. A good emotive photo. The border is a bit on the thick side, but I like the composition.
