This image and subject (model) shows great potential without the special effect as it fails to enhance the beauty. Pretending the effect is not there I give you a 6 but would have gone a full 10.

You may disagree with me, and that's okay, but this doesn't meet the spirit of the challenge in my opinion. Plus it appears to have used illegal filters. It sure is an attention grabber, however.

I don't care for this effect. Pity, it looks like it might have been fine before it was applied.

I think the application of the plastic filter cheapens the shot. This has more of a snapshot sense to it than a true portrait. I'd crop out as much of the car door as possible and make her look more natural.

that plastic effect aint doin it for me, looks like a pretty girl and i think you would have done alot better with out that effect.

it looks like your model is very beautiful and very photogenic but the surroundings and the effect are not too desirable imo. especially on her face, it resembles something else..

Just not sure about this.
I'm sure there is a great shot in there somewhere

the filter takes away from a great natural shot. She's beautiful, why cover her up?

Your subject is beautiful. Don't hide it with wrap. I know you're not hiding her, just being artistic. would've scored higher though. so 7

I don't particularly enjoy this filter. I think the photo without it would have done you more justice. Sorry.

I really do not like this. She is very beautiful and you went and made her look weird. LOL I think people are either going to loe it or hate it. Good luck.

I love the effect the filter has on her hair and her surroundings, but the color it left on her face is annoying. Still very good composition and lighting overall.

could be awesome, but the editing hurts it for this challenge I think. but I like it alot!!!!!!!

Generally, extensive editing like this does not do well in challenges. I think this is the case once again. I see a beautiful model with a great expression and composition, with very nice tones and colors, but I am not personally wild about your choice of filters. Would love to see this before the filtering. I think it might have contended for a ribbon. Good luck. <6>

I think you ruined a really pretty picture with whatever filter you used. I'm sorry to say that but that is just how I feel. I hope I didn't hurt your feelings with my comment....

looks like you started with a fine shot. I am afraid you didn't end up there. how did you do this? why did you do this? Interesting effect, but it distanced the viewer from an understanding of who the model is rather than bringing us closer.

I think this would have been nearly a 6 or 7 if you hadn't used the warp effect. I love the models emotion and unique pose... grrrrrr

yuck another where to many hands spoiled the soup. I bet she is really pretty and it would have been better to let her inner beauty shine.

I dont see how this editing trick enhances the photo at all. The model and pose are good enough. Did you upload the wrong version?

I think this picture would have scored higher with me if it didnt have the photoshop effect added.

I believe it would have abeen much nicer without the effect. I is too hectic for my eyes. Looksliek she has beautiful eyes and hair. 3

Some filters in photoshop are better left unused.... this is one of them. I haven't found a good use for it yet.

I think you probably had a decent portrait going on this. I'm not a big fan of the plastic look filter you've used. The filter uins the shot for me and that's why I gave it low marks. JMO.

For me, this would have worked better without the funky filter play in a photo-editing program. Always fun to experiment though.

This would have been an awesome shot had you just left it alone...

A little too much playing with the filters, especially around the eyes.

This looks like it would be a nice shot without the liquid/plastic filter. I think I would like it better. The idea is interesting, just not digging the editing. Just my taste though. Nice attempt at thinking outside the box. :-) She looks very pretty but hard to see her true self behind the plastic. Maybe that's what you were going for though.

I am not sure this effect add anything to this picture. Looks like a very good picture from the start destroyed by filter abuse. Subject has a nice pose and intriguing look.

Not good usage of filter, this would have been a good picture without it. Seems like a beutiful model and the pose and litghts too.

what a shame you put the filter on! would've liked to have seen this without the plastic.

I think this would have been excellent before the "effect" you chose or maybe with a different effect that still allowed you to view the features. Oh well, trying new approaches is fun.

Notta, not a fan of this style. I would of absolutely loved to see this photo without the special effects. Black and Blue one of my favorites to see, I may of even scored my first 8 with this photo.

probably was a good portrait. the special effects just don't seem to be adding anything to this.

Not lovin the plastic wrap rendering here. Don't really know why you would to that to what appears to be a good shot!?!?!?! 4

I think this would have been a nice picture if you hadn't used the special effects. It really ruined the beautiful face.
